Requirements for the installation of substations

The attached 10 kV substation on the ground floor of the building does not need to be divided into rooms, and the transformer and high and low voltage switchgear can be arranged on the same floor and in the same room, only need to maintain a specific spacing, and the 35 kV independent substation with a proprietary building should be arranged in separate rooms according to the function

The structural design and equipment layout of the substation generally have the following requirements:

(1) The attached 10 kV substation on the ground floor of the building does not need to be divided into rooms, and the transformer and high and low voltage switchgear can be arranged on the same floor and in the same room, and only need to maintain a specific spacing, and the 35 kV independent substation with a proprietary building should be arranged in layered rooms according to the function;

(2) The indoor layout of the substation should be compact and reasonable, which is convenient for the operation, maintenance, test and inspection of the operating personnel, and the installation position of the switch cabinet should meet the minimum channel width requirements, and due consideration should be given to the development and expansion requirements;

(3) The sub-room layout of the substation should be reasonably arranged in the position of each functional room in the station, the high-voltage distribution room is adjacent to the high-voltage capacitor room, the low-voltage distribution room is adjacent to the transformer room, the low-voltage distribution room should be convenient for the outlet, and the location of the control room should be convenient for the work and management of the operating personnel;

(4) The facilities of the high and low voltage distribution room should meet the safety and fire protection requirements, and combustible materials are not allowed to be used for decoration in the station;

(5) The doors of the high and low voltage distribution room, capacitor room and transformer room should be opened outward, and the doors of the two adjacent distribution rooms should be opened in both directions;

(6) The high and low voltage distribution room, capacitor room, transformer room and main control room should be equipped with facilities to prevent rain, snow, snakes, rats and other from entering the room from doors, windows and cable trenches.
